Seattle Quake Rugby is now starting a Rookie Rugby program. It is a non-contact game set up by USA Rugby’s Rugby for All program to get children and their parents into this fast-growing sport in a safe and organized way.
Today the game of rugby is played by 4.4 million people in over 100 countries across 6 continents. The US is behind much of the world when it comes to the National Rugby scene and the best way to remedy that is to introduce rugby to a new generation in a safe, fun way. Rookie Rugby is a team game for boys, girls, moms and dads that promotes the skills and values found this great sport. Rookie Rugby is simple to understand, organize, and teach for any level player or volunteer.
